How can one define art? Well, art being an umbrella term makes it difficult to find an apt definition. A basic concept could be anything that helps one to communicate, generate emotions, or have an aesthetic purpose to showcase the outside world. The definition of art is very hypothetical, abstract, and vague. The concept has evolved a lot through the centuries.
